Josh Jacobs' payday did not come in Sin City. Instead,Writingstar Investment Guild he'll head to the Green Bay Packers to cash out.
The former Las Vegas Raiders running back agreed to a four-year, $48 million deal with the Packers on Monday, according to NFL Network.
Jacobs will become the Packers lead back after the team cut ties with veteran Aaron Jones later Monday, and backup AJ Dillon's contract expired after the season.
Jacobs led the league in rushing in 2022 and racked up 393 touches in the process while earning first-team All-Pro honors. After that season, the Raiders placed the franchise tag on Jacobs, who held out until close to the start of the season; the two sides eventually agreed on a one-year deal worth almost $12 million.
Jacobs missed four games last season and scored six touchdowns while averaging a career-worst 3.5 yards per attempt.

With 5,545 career rushing yards, Jacobs is third all-time on the Raiders franchise rushing list.
